Uber may deactivate you if you ignore a Recall. Drivers if you have a Recall on your vehicle you may want to get it fixed.

Unfortunately some vehicles may have a recall but parts are not available. I had a recall on my Honda Pilot for the airbags. Took it to Honda dealer a few weeks ago and they fixed it in 2.5 hrs. However I have a 2013 Ford Focus with a recall that came out a few months back. It isnt a "do not drive recall" but dont know if Uber will allow me to use it on platform. Parts are not available until October 2019. I am sure it will take some time to get appt. as people will all try to get their cars fixed as soon as parts are available. I have both vehicles on platform. Was just going to put Focus back on road for Uber since gas went up. Not sure what to do now. Dont want to risk being deactivated. According to Ford they suggest just keeping 1/2 tank of gas all the time. Only issues I noticed is it did stall and shake horribly once on my daughter when she had 27 miles until empty. Sometimes when I fill it the mileage until Empty does vary. I keep it above 1/2 tank and it seems to be fine.

So drivers rather then risk Deactivation unless you dont care get those Recalls taken care of. Especially if you have Takata Airbags.
