What if everyone who takes Uber/Lyft New Years Resolution included tipping your driver? Would be nice. Received 7 tips out of 8 rides last night ($5 and $10) . That never happens at least not to me. Sure I was just lucky or people trying to be positive for the New Year. Give it a day or 2 will be back to 2 out of 8 trips:) What a big difference it makes though. One can wish. Keep on tipping!!!

7 out 8 is phenomenal. That's a pre-Christmas level. Averaging a proud 50% in 2018.
It was the weekend after New Years last Saturday night. I can tell you now it was most likely sheer luck.:)
I noticed a spike in tips also the past few days. Maybe things will get better. Like you said one can hope. Just wondering how other drivers make out on Lyft with tips? Although Uber initially started with "no tipping" I find I get more tips driving with Uber. I do drive more Uber than Lyft trips but its rare I get tips from Lyft riders. Any thoughts?
