I'm curious, what information do Uber drivers see about potential passengers before the trip starts?
I'm curious, what information do Uber drivers see about potential passengers ...
The Guru Take
Drivers actually don't get a whole lot of information about riders. As a driver, once you log on to the app and get a request, you have 10 seconds to accept or ignore the request and all you see is the passenger's first name, approximate location on the map, passenger rating and type of ride (uberx, uberpool, etc). In some cities like Chicago, the city doesn't allow passenger ratings to be shown either.
Here's what the request screen looks like for a driver: http://therideshareguy.com/how-to-use-the-uber-partner-and-passenger-apps/
