Use the Blue "hail button" on Fare Cards
Once you have searched for your fare by entering in your starting and ending addresses, you will notice that all of your ride choices for your desired route will be displayed in individual "fare cards". Each fare card has a blue button at the bottom that allows you to either hail a car or download the company's app which will then enable you to hail your ride. The blue button will say "Hail UberX" or "Get Lyft app". For taxis, the blue button will bring you to a list of taxi companies and ratings so you can choose the company that looks the best to you.
In terms of payment, RideGuru is not affiliated with any of the companies on this site. You will pay each company directly for your ride either through the app that you are using or in cash if the option is available.
