Revel is offering Mopeds along the lines of a Vespa.  No surprise here,  you download their app, find a moped, unlock the helmet carrier, and your off. These mopeds can do up to 30mph and a lot nicer looking than lime green scooter or a bright blue bike or is it a lime green bike & blue scooter? Who knows there are so many. These seem like your best mode of transportation. Faster, easier, roomier, you can easily put a sm/med. bag, purse, or whatever in the helmet case. My only concern is the helmet. It was on other people's head. Do they provide a throw away cover you can tuck your hair in. Can you say lice infestation or RID? Suppose the peeps before you don't have good hygiene? Who knows what could be hiding, crawling, or sticking to the helmet and then transferred to your head. Then there is always helmet hair. Although I would find this to be the easiest and fastest way to get around thee whole helmet thing would be a deal breaker for me. My next concern is will they be riding in bike lanes or can they ride in car lanes? Can we pass them? Suppose the person is drunk/high that could definately cause issues. What about distracted driving? Do laws require moped users to be hands free of phones. Wonder how many negligent parents will decide to take a moped instead of an Uber. No one to cancel their ride for no car seat on…

No one to cancel their ride for no car seat on a Moped, although I would think it's illegal. What do they care? They dont put their kids in car seats anyway.  How are all the bikes, scooters, mopeds, pedestrians, and cars going to co exist? All these things are parked on sidewalks except the moped. The roads that belong to basically trucks & cars now have bikes, scooters, mopeds, did I miss anything? You dont need a motorcycle license to operate them so I assume teens can operate them. Since they are driven in the street do the teens know the traffic laws of the road? Will they follow them? No is my guess. Just like cyclists 90% dont follow traffic laws. All these modes of transportation will possibly cause more road rage, traffic accidents, congestion on the roads & sidewalks. I also see more pedestrians being injured by inexperienced or careless operators. Instead of seeing a car pulled over we will be seeing scooters, bikes, and mopeds:) IMO Congestion and Safety will be an issue with all these things on the road.

I think Dorothy, the Scarecrow, and the Tin Man said it best. "Lions, tigers, and bears Oh My"!
