What Type of Car Seat does Lyft use?

All Lyft car seat vehicles have the IMMI Go car seat, which is a forward facing model. This car seat is designed to transport kids between 31 -52 inches and 22 – 48 pounds.

While riders are responsible for ensuring their child is properly seated in the car seat, drivers are responsible for installing and uninstalling the car seat at the beginning and end of each ride. Drivers who participate in the Lyft car seat program must pass a knowledge test on the proper way to install, uninstall, and maintain the car seat.
