No extra charges for luggage. Just make sure to request a car big enough.
There are currently no charges for luggage with rideshare services like Uber and Lyft. You are allowed to bring and stow your luggage in the cargo space in the car you request. Of course, you are only allow to have what would fit in the vehicle, so if you have excessive amount of luggage, you want to order a large enough car or notify the driver upon dispatch.
Remember that you need to consider that the amount of luggage can affect the number of people that would fit in the car. While UberX is suggested for 4 passengers, if you have luggage that may exceed the trunk space, you may not all be able to fit!
