One of the most common questions we hear at RideGuru is “How much luggage can I fit in my Uber?”. No one wants to pay extra for a larger vehicle if they can fit in the standard size but there is also the very real fear that your ride will show up and you will not be able to fit all your luggage! To help solve this dilemma, our team has gone through the popular rideshare options and estimated the amount of luggage that you can carry with you.
Take a look below for example vehicles, maximum number of riders, and recommended maximum luggage amount for each type of rideshare service.

| With shared rides you need to be aware that your car may be picking up other passengers along your route who also have items to place in the car/trunk. For this reason, you should limit yourself to one piece of luggage when taking a shared ride. |
Luxury rides can be tricky to estimate the amount of luggage space as the luxury vehicle you get may be either a sedan or an SUV. A good rule of thumb is to assume you will receive a sedan unless you order a luxury SUV service such as Uber SUV or Lyft Lux SUV (see below).

It is important to note that most drivers will have their trunk cleared out for you, but it is still always a good idea to call your driver as soon as you request your ride to ensure that their car can handle your luggage!

Who do you think is going to load your heavy weight luggage.?
This is what i keep saying but the entitled avacado toast eaters think that they can load 6 people each of whom has a massive International size bag into an Infiniti QX60. It's extra luggage or extra passengers not both you morons
I wanted to let prospective drivers know how much luggage we have, but Pickup notes aren't available for scheduled pickups. I had to go with a traditional taxi service, couldn't t take the chance of not being able to fit.
