   2 years ago in  After dropping off the passenger, can the Uber driver keep driving without completing the ride? ...in order "to run up the meter?"

  This happened to me and Uber will not refund me. Trip was 10 minutes and the driver kept it running for over 4 hours and I was forced to pay the bill. Support staff claim it's my fault so won't refund me. Been an Uber user for almost 10 years and that will be the last ride I take.
