   1 year ago in  Riders, Why are you putting fake names on your Uber & Lyft account? Be prepared for longer wait times or getting cancelled.

  I identify as female so when riding Lyft  I pefer them to use the female name I want to be called I also see it as a security measure for the customer to know that they have the right ride. I believe other people might also use fake name cause it might be easier for a driver to pronounce. Which is similar to getting a Starbucks drink
