  • Ouayside Portland Cruise Terminal: you need permission from the Port to pick up passengers quayside.  If not the shuttle stops at the entrance and a car could be at the Britannia Car Park (which is not on the maps)

  • I chose from your list.  If you need more specifics, let me know.

  • The cruise ship terminal is close to the causeway.  The port doesn't allow taxis etc into the port.  A shuttle takes us out. Portland Castle seems to be the closest starting choice and the Weymouth Library is just a 2 min walk from 109 St Mary St where Sarah wants to have tea.  That would be the end point of our return trip from Durdle Door.

  • Thank you.  I  will try to be more specific but it's not easy.  The Norwegian Spirit shore time in the Portland Harbor on July 6th is 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Portland Harbor is tightly restricted.  We would like to be picked up as close to the cruise ship as possible.  We want to go to Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, hobble down to the beach for an hour or so, and then back to the town of Weymouth around 14:30 PM.

The remainder of the family is renting bikes and we two cannot ride bikes due to leg issues.  Hope this will help you help us.

  • Thank you!  I followed your advice and requested a quote through Taxicode.  I've been trying for weeks to find a way to round up a way for my granddaughter and self to have enjoyable day.  The rest of the family is bike riding.  We cannot do that do to leg issues.  Here's hoping I hear from them soon.
