I do these things and make great tips! I think it helps I read people well and know how to actively listen instead of talk about myself, when I have a chatty rider. I don't really talk unless they do, though.
I've got a 5.0 lyft rating and a 4.99 Uber (I've done like 2 k rides in 6 months. I had one rude coughing lady who wouldn't wear a mask after i gave her one and asked to wear it. So she gave me a 1 star.)
I learned to cancel on impatient, rude riders. Especially ones who can't give a correct pick up point. Here in Reno the casinos make your cell signal weird, sharing location means nothing. I will sit at your pin and cancel, I'm not playing where's Waldo with these fools
