I am going on a road trip next week end, I already have 2 empty seats.....now, I have two passengers that are carpooling with me. I could have left my 2 empty seats just as is and taking nobody with me.... and they would have either taken a Bus or else. That doesnt change the fact that I am still going... and that I have space that isn't used at its fullest capacity....So why not offer it!?! The thing is people are confused with terms and the crime benefits some companies that are misleading the general population for its own benefits. But real ridesharing is just that, you share your ride that you are ALREADY doing. Overall, I am happy to suggest my rideshare trips for people and at the same time meeting new faces.
