Glad I caught the 2nd segment. Beautifully said. When I first got into rideshare I did a bunch of research and found out that since the 1800's the industry (taxi/vehicle for hire) has never been highly profitable for the owners. What I find so amazing is that the Uber/Lyft model can spend so much on software and marketing that they are still not profitable when they have no cost of vehicle ownership..... sounds like a great money-laundering scheme for massive amounts of money.
