I tried that. The same thing happened to me in Portland, Orego. I tried contacting Lyft and they offered no support so I went to Facebook and Twitter and posted . I got responses and have kept at them for weeks, but ultimately they did not do anything, except say they are not responsible for forgotten items. I was even able to locate my belongings with the Find My app. The Portland Police did what they could but could not do anything without more information from Lyft.
My insurance company doesn’t want to pay out until I get a denial from Lyft insurance company but they claim they don’t have any insurance. I guess I’ll see if the local TV station wants run a story on it.
