Has anyone checked their weekly pay statement online recently? If so check if they Uber are subtracting a amount of money each week under the fare listing Distance. I have noticed this for the past 5 weeks & can't get a valid reason for why they are doing this. Support keeps talking that this is a fee Uber is now charging drivers to use the app. If that is the case it should be listed under the Weekly Uber service fee summary?????????
I have been driving for Uber for many years now. Upfront pricing that is Uber's newest twist sounds good but there are many downsides. The offered ride & details flash on the screen for just seconds. It is a driving hazard as you have to try to read it all & decide if you want to take the ride. There are many considerations to make as you are trying to drive down the road & perhaps converse with your passenger. Uber tells you that you have the choice to turn down rides but if you do more than two in a row they take you off line. Also if the ride is posted for a 15 minute ride but ends up taking you much longer due to traffic, you have to contact Uber(WHICH IS A REAL PAIN).
