So I always make a point to rate and tip pretty much immediately as I'm walking from the car --- and I thought drivers saw that, but after reading some of the responses below, I didn't realize it can take some time for the rate and trip to go through, so that makes sense. This is a very interesting discussion. I have a 4.84 rider rating, and I'd like it to go up. I always tip, but I use the app --- but I'm seeing people say it's better to tip in cash; does it make a difference? I only use the app because I tend to use cash very rarely and don't have any on me, but if it makes a difference and drivers prefer cash, I'd be happy to use it. Thank you!
