I've been driving part time for Uber at night for over 2.5yrs. I'm a single mom with three children who doesn't get child support and I work full-time during the week. I started driving for Uber to supplement the loss of child support from my ex-husband, who purposefully quit his job to get out of his child support payments. Out of 40 rides, I MIGHT receive three tips, if I'm lucky. I don't expect a tip; however, I truly appreciate it when I DO receive them. I provide amenities in my vehicle for riders to enhance both their comfort and engagement levels. Any income I receive from driving for Uber helps support my family and I would ADORE it if there was a way to send a Thank You to the people who DO give me a tip! :)
