  • This did happen to me.  We canceled the last part of a multi trip ride and the driver said he would just cancel it on his end and “end” the ride.  

    By the time I got settled I realized he kept the meter on for about 25 minutes after drop off. 

    Uber customer support was very unsupportive and kept spitting out generic responses no matter what I asked.  

    Felt cheated, and jumped ship to Lyft instead due to poor customer support.
