6000 sexual assault cases out of 2.3 billion rides. Victims were 50% of the time drivers!https://www.nbcnews.com/tech/tech-news/uber-riders-drivers-share-fears-about-safety-after-company-releases-n1097446
Just another way to not pay drivers. The interest will be so high drivers will be driving for weeks to pay loan off. Is there anything this company wont do? Dara must be getting desperate to turn a profit. Cant hold investors off forever. Dara has money now he is out for power. Wants to see his name everywhere. Talk about ego. This dude will stop at nothing. It's awful what they have done all ready with their leasing program. That is the way these companies are skirting the issue and avoiding arbitration cases. There is a new TOS by Uber, if you sign it make sure you opt out of mandatory arbitration.https://www.reuters.com/article/legal-us-otc-uber/forced-into-arbitration-12500-drivers-claim-uber-wont-pay-fees-to-launch-cases-idUSKBN1O52C6
This is a major win for the drivers, but knowing Uber, what will it cost us? Lower rates? No more DF? but for now, enjoy it!https://ride.guru/content/newsroom/drivers-are-finally-getting-what-they-want-is-uber-relenting-to-the-ca-ab5-law
With no strings attached, no punishment for AR or CR, decline all the rides you don't want, pick the rides you want to do!https://ride.guru/content/newsroom/drivers-are-finally-getting-what-they-want-is-uber-relenting-to-the-ca-ab5-law

Have you all seen something like this in your area? Driver's sharing maps of your city with No Go Zones?https://www.cbs46.com/news/rideshare-drivers-label-no-go-zones-in-metro-atlanta/article_e6a7a44e-157d-11ea-83bd-5b5c6a0addf7.html
Very easy to do, just follow the steps. It is definitely necessary in order to be part of major class action lawsuits coming up. Uber TOS guarantees no retaliation like a deactivation. You have 30 days to do so like it was with Lyft as well!https://drivers-united.org/uber-arbitration-opt-out
I’m a first timer visiting Seattle. If I need to get from a hotel near Seattle Center (Seattle Repertory Theatre) to a restaurant about a mile away near First Ave & Wall St around 5 pm, how long before 5 pm should I call a taxi or Uber/Lyft? And if I need to be back at the Seattle Rep by 7:15, again, how far ahead do I need to call? I know from Mapquest the drive will take less than 10 minutes, but I don’t know how long it’s likely to take before my ride arrives.
Hi. My name is Ross. I’m a rideshare driver and a student. I’m researching how rideshare drivers navigate breaks. Immediately after I began driving for Uber and Lyft, I realized how difficult it can be to take a break, especially when I needed a bathroom. I’m looking for a way to improve the process of taking a bathroom break, specifically for the rideshare community. I would greatly appreciate if you could take 2 minutes to fill out the following brief survey:https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PQ86TFMAll responses are confidential. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to me ...
Hello, do any of you know a Lyft (and probably also Uber) driver named Teresa who was driving in San Francisco, CA on Saturday night (December 7, 2019) and then went to Belmont, CA after (thank you, FindMyPhone)? I left my cell phone in her car, and Lyft has been awful in its inability to contact her and let her know she has my phone in her car. COULD YOU PLEASE REFER HER TO THIS POST? I really need my phone - it's incredibly critical I get it back immediately. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. The only ...
New York lawmakers are planning to introduce a bill that would go beyond making Uber Technologies Inc. and Lyft Inc. drivers employees by also allowing them to unionize, a move that could clash with federal labor and antitrust laws. https://news.bloomberglaw.com/daily-labor-report/new-york-proposal-aims-to-let-uber-lyft-drivers-form-unions
I Googled the subject line question of finding cureent total LYFT income as of today. An answer on the LYFT platform says: "The best place to track your earnings is the 'Driving History' tab in the Driver Dashboard. The Dashboard lets you see earnings by day, week, month, or year." I do not see where the aggregate for the ENTIRE year to date is shown. I only see a breakdown of week-to-week. Where do I find the total for the year thus far?
If I am leaving the Montreal Central Train Station to Dr.s clinic 15 min away, but I have mobility issues and trouble squeezing into smaller cars with my legs, should I wait and hope their a svu or such waiting at the station or are they rare where I would have to request one ahead of time?
