Driver kept the app running for MILES after dropping me off. Ended up with a $76 dollar charge on what should have been a $15 ride. I eventually got the money back but it took weeks of fighting with Uber. They are so frustrating to get ahold of!!
Well I think the sign on bonuses always help somewhat. I mean to someone down on their luck to get a couple hundred dollars quickly is quite a good deal. Uber just needs man power, they don't really care who is doing the driving just as long as they can keep the best profit margin possible.
Is this really all that surprising? I mean developing new technology as advanced as this is of course going to cost a ton of money. Not sure why this is even news, TBH.
