This sounds awful, sorry. Lyft and Uber have really gone downhill in regards to their reliability. I think it is because their are not many drivers on their platforms anymore. I would recommend using public transport or a traditional taxi cab/car service for now.
My own car. I know I am putting good wear and tear on it but I still think it is worth it, at least for now. I have become a lot more conscious of taking good care of my car though, regular oil changes are key!
If the child was noticeably young then I would have them sit in my car until police came. However, if the child was teetering on being 18 (hard to tell by just looking at them) then I would give them a ride.
I only drive part time in Boston and I am definitely making some profit. It is not life changing but I do feel the extra spending money every week which is nice. I would imagine it might be hard to do this full time (personally I would get too fidgety) but I like being able to do it when I have nothing else going on.

Good. The Govt should not be able to tell people what to put into THEIR bodies. SMH
Do the walkers fold, if yes then you will be fine with an UberX or Lyft.
I think it should be set at the same standard as drivers. Why not?
