  Partially and partially because there are just too many empty cabs and rideshare vehicles sitting outside the airport at any given time.

  I tend to agree - something seems slightly fishy about this. I bet she offered up the information or did something embarrassing that she does not want to admit to, hence the unbelievable tale of the driver just randomly coming out and asking if she was getting an abortion...

  I read about this - this guy said that pay was similar except getting rideshare bonuses help out a lot. I always though taxi drivers made a lot more because of the higher prices.

  It talks about how Uber/Lyft are doing so much better at serving low income neighborhoods. I get the plight of taxi drivers but if you do not adapt you will lose.
