Why would someone put a fake name on their account? Maybe it is because of security, they don't want drivers knowing their real names especially when many passengers get picked up from home.
I really do not get this. The simple solution is for the driver to give THEIR name to the rider and the rider to give THEIR name to the driver. There, everyone is verified.
I would not put this past either Uber or Lyft even if they stole 1 out of 10 tips it's too easy for them to cover up any evidence since they have all the data. They could easily skim a penny off the tips, an amount you would never notice.
I still don't get the big thing about these scooters. The clutter the sidewalks, you can get hurt so easily, you arrive all sweaty, you can only use them in good weather, etc, etc
I never thought about this before but how strange to enter a car and it will already be playing the music you like, the temperature will be comfortable for you, windows will be rolled up or down, etc. Personalized travel. I like this.
Is it just me or does Uber creating flying cars scare the crap out of you? I mean they are not the most sound company and now they are trying to take on one of the hardest endeavors of our time?! Just a couple months ago their autonomous vehicle KILLED a women! One step at a time Uber, I think they are completely getting ahead of theirselves and this is going to be disastrous.
