Two nights ago I saw a passenger tip me on their phone but I still have yet to receive the money? Is Uber being shady here?

Twice I witnessed it while not getting paid when the tipping option first came out. Last week I showed a first time user how to tip through the app. She hit the $3 button and closed out the app without noticing the " Submit" button below she was supposed to tap as well. I wonder how many other pax thought they tipped but unintentionally didn't tap the Submit button in the process as well.
Doesn't Uber do this with passenger surge rates too? 😡
Hm Idk, but I have noticed it can take a few days for payments to hit my account especially when I do a weekend shift. Maybe contact Uber if it doesn't show up by tomorrow EOD?
I have long suspected Uber of taking pieces of my tips.
Add this to the list of corrupted things Uber does. Would it really surprise anyone if they pocketed millions in tips?!
I would not put this past either Uber or Lyft even if they stole 1 out of 10 tips it's too easy for them to cover up any evidence since they have all the data. They could easily skim a penny off the tips, an amount you would never notice.
haha, this is probably why Uber is so reluctant to share their data...
