Uber does not charge per person, but instead they charge for the trip. Hence, there definitely no charges for children 5 years of age.
Are you referring to 5-year olds riding alone? Unfortunately, that is not allowed.

Traditional Ridesharing is not designed for child safety. Uber and Lyft's terms and conditions specify you must be 18 or over to use the service, and minors must travel accompanied by an adult.
