Lyft Line riders cannot change destination. If changes have to be made they need to cancel.
By design, Lyft Line passengers are not allowed to change their destinations. This is to make sure the routes are optimized and people are grouped together properly.
If a passenger tells you they need to be taken to a location different than the one originally requested, the driver is supposed to politely decline or instruct that the ride be canceled.
This is true when they request the driver to make additional stops, even temporary ones. Yes, cancellation charges may apply.
