Los Angeles International Airport (IATA: LAX, ICAO: KLAX, FAA LID: LAX) is the primary commercial airport serving Los Angeles, a major metropolitan area in the U.S. state of California. It is in Westchester, LA about 18 miles (8.0 km) southwest of Downtown Los Angeles.
The pickup policies at Los Angeles Airport are very specific for rideshares, and are located separate from other taxis and for-hire vehicles. Please follow the directions below very carefully.

Rideshare Pickup/Dropoff Instructions for Los Angeles International Airport
Caution: All ride dropoffs and pickups occur on the upper departures/ticketing level and curbside, any other location could be subject to fines. Pickups must happen curbside at the "Ride Service Pickup" signs A - F.
Drop-Offs:
Rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft can drop off at the departure level, along side regular passengers and taxis. Notify your driver of the airlines and preferably the terminal upon entering the airport premises.
Pick-Ups:
After getting off the flight, you are to follow signs that read, "TNC / Rideshares" or "Ride Service Pickup". There are different pick-up stations for each terminal in the airport. Make sure you indicate in your app which pickup station you are located at, so your driver can find you.
This is a very busy area, so make sure to be looking for the car that matches your driver description.
