  It looks like water on a seat. I wonder if Uber even looks at the photos or some machine just decides whether to charge the passenger.

  Maybe talk to other parents about carpooling options to and from school. I'm sure a bunch of people are going back and forth, and you might get away with paying a reasonable amount for that.

  How did you know it was more? Did the price change? Maybe it depends on the time of day. I would wait to check till you get the trip receipt to compare, maybe they just overstated it for you when you originally requested.
