   4 years ago in  Why don't Uber/Lyft require drivers accepting airport rides to have empty trunks and cargo space?

  I think drivers are required to have trunk space available for luggage but I don't think it has to be completely empty. Did you get a driver that had a full trunk? I agree with you, this is part of their job so they should be prepared but I also understand that these are their personal cars.

   5 years ago in  Christmas came early for drivers in CA, Uber will show pick-up and drop off address of passenger and much more before accepting the ride!

  Do you think this will cause drivers to avoid bad neighborhoods even more? I would be interested to see stats on pick up times in poor neighborhoods and how much they increase.

   5 years ago in  Why would a driver prefer a TAXI over Uber or Lyft? When do drivers choose to drive taxis instead of Uber or Lyft?

  Not sure I know anyone who would CHOOSE to drive a taxi over a rideshare. I think many that still hold onto it are people who own medallions.

  I say I spend about $200 a month on taxis and I don't try to taxi that much but I do like to take them late at night or if it is terrible weather.
