I heard about Uber getting even cheaper than Uberpool.. my question is, how is the company making money?
How is Uber making money when the fares are $3 a ride? And most of that goes back to the …
Save the Uber drivers hahaha that is funny.
Well, there is two ways I am interpreting this question.
Financial support: Definitely find a job that pays enough to pay the bills. Go to school and learn an in-demand skillset. Being a rideshare driver is a flexible gig, which also means that what you will earn is often unclear because it depends on how much you drive and if there is surge pricing or not.
Emotional Support: Being compassionate is important, Uber and Lyft drivers put up with a lot of crap in their jobs. And definitely if you have a family, make sure to create a schedule ahead of time of when your family member will be driving, when you will be working, who will be watching the kids, etc.. This will make it a less stressful situation for you all.
Hope this helps.
Are you sure? A couple months ago I had a 2-door Tesla pull up as my UberX in Boston. Not even a black car! I thought I just got lucky, but maybe the driver was bending the rules.
awww so cute. nice story.
This happens all the time. Be careful!

i dont really get this feature either, just doesn't seem necessary to have to add a spot on my trip. if i need to stop at mcdonalds ill take an uber to mcdonalds, relax and eat my food, and call another one when im ready
uber doesn't care about drunk drivers they just want to make money
can you imagine that?? i would love to get my groceries delivered. let me know if you find out anything!
unfortunately most of the time im traveling during the day.. hah. i guess i should change my work schedule to do night shifts, i'd probably save $100 a week on rides
how far do you have to walk? what if it's raining, sometimes i just want to get a ride for a few blocks but i dont want to walk to the car ahhah
i mean don't you have to get where you need to go at a certain time lol. if you're worried about price just use a carpool instead. or god forbid another company that's not uber
tipping is optional, i never tip. it's already too expensive
