I am traveling to domestic airport at about 5:00 pm. Should I hire Uber or a taxi. Let me know best option.

Tough one. So many factors

5:00PM makes it tricky as there is usually commuter traffic around that time.  Since you can get a confirmation for pickup and you can track the vehicle location, this battle may go to rideshares (Uber).  Obviously, this depends on car availability, your location, etc. etc.
