Is there a way to get a ride without a credit card?
The Guru Take
No. Some exceptions, but most rideshares do not accept cash.
Major rideshare services like Uber and Lyft only accept payments through their mobile apps and websites, and they currently require Credit Cards or Debit Cards. There are other services such as taxis, limos, and smaller rideshare companies who do accept cash or other forms of payment, but you would need to check with them directly.
If you are a business users, some companies are starting to have arrangements directly, where payments are paid through PO (purchase orders), but this may not apply to you.

Since this still shows up in current google search results, I feel obligated to add that Lyft does now accept PayPal as payment, which can be deducted directly from your bank account.
