If Lyft is about 10% cheaper than Uber why do people use Uber?

Uber Driver vs. Taxi Driver
Found this. NOt sure how true it is. Probably a gross generalization. -
Do you drive for more than one ride hail company? I assume that's common?
How does it work? Just download multiple apps and drive? Does this mean every driver has like 10 apps running …
Uber checks your credit card standing and debit card funds frequently. From what I can see on this thread, whenever those checks fail, they will basically remove that schedule icon. With that said, I assume you had enough funds at 5PM too, so...
All I can say is that debit cards seem to cause more problems than credit cards, from what I can tell.
They have an argument, no? Uber has a predetermined arrangement with their drivers, and the drivers should honor that arrangement. If Uber drecides to raise the price on customers, that’s a discussion between them.
Our office has had a net going whether rideshares will end up being called taxis again at some point.
I mean, that’s what they are. Just with a better technology
Mobile workers, baby.
In San Francisco, this has been happening all the time. Not just drivers either. The workers of the city can not afford the living costs and rent, so they trek in and often sleep in parking lots.
Reminiscent of Dubai and the people who were shipped in to build it
You get out, yell and complain as to how important you are and now you are late, then call another Uber. Disregard all the pain the drivers would have to go through.
That’s pretty much how it’s always done.
In all seriousness? My passenger app has never worked on my iPhone 6S. I would request a ride, and it spins and spins. Then eventually goes back to the original screen with just the map.
The real confusing part? The request has gone out and a drive does show up. So everything is working except for...well the rest of it all.
So I never see anyone accepts a ride. I’ve never seen that action or a message if there is one. If I kill the app and reopen the app, I can see the driver approaching and who he or she is.
I always thought of asking someone but I figured it isn’t worth my time.
Another company who took some cool pics based on their loose business model and got their split second in the lime light.
Mine is below 4.7. No wonder the icon spins and spins when I request a ride. I’m being treated like a hot potato.
