Driver's would you do this?
"Ivee’s participating drivers can invest in themed decorations and amenities to earn more from a customer. At the moment, their rides could be delighted by a mobile holiday party. Next month they will have the option to make their backseats a rolling relaxation pod as people regroup from the holidays."

In my experience driving for Uber and Lyft I've found there are 2 types of riders ones that tip and ones that dont. If you are a person that doesnt tip no matter what you do as a driver or what your car looks like, smells like, etc.. is not going to matter. I have trips that I go way out of my way to accomodate and help a rider out. If that rider is someone who dont normally tip its not going to make them tip. No matter what you do how much you help its not happening. Go out of your way or help someone who normally does tip they will tip you even more for the extra effort or your help. As long as your driving those (approx) 35 yrs of age or younger or riders that dont normally tip you could save their life, roll out a red carpet, give best ride of their life you are not getting tipped.
Lyft - dont do many rides (25) 4 people have tipped 5.00 or less. 1 rider tipped 10.00 he was in his 60's got off a plane was thirsty I gave him a water.
Uber - 1st 6 months of driving (tipp…

Uber - 1st 6 months of driving (tipping 1st started)(4 out of 10) 2 out of 10 riders tipped $5.00 to $20.00 2 tipped less than 5.00. After 6 mths (past year) 2 out of 10 tip $5.00 - $10.00. I still get the occassional rider that tips $15/$20.
Tipping has definately declined although service, clean car, ratings etc has not declined. We are not going to get these millennials to tip if they dont normally tip.
Just another thing I noticed. Not all but most people.
Pull up to huge big single homes, pool, lots of ground, expensive cars dont tip.
People that brag how much they make or how they have dont tip.
People who say they will tip on app. DON'T Why bother saying it?

How do you think the rich people got rich - by being stingy and counting every penny they have. I have always found this to be true. Many rich people are so STINGY with their money and the single mom waitress who just got off her double shift will tip what she can. Sad world we live in sometimes.
OdjeI, so true. I am on my sons phone this comment is actually from momof4. My $10/$20 tips came from short rides that were from people that worked in service industry or slightly above minimum wage jobs. People that bragged about how much money they make it have don't tip although one gave me .50. I can understand that people with big home, lots of cars, etc.. are used o living a certain lifestyle and maybe they are having money issues. I try not to judge. When they brag about it that's what annoys me when they don't tip. Or the day I picked up 3 orthopedic surgeons (they owned their own practice) who explained they couldn't get an XL so dropped to X. I drive both but wasn't in area when tried for XL. They said 2 X drivers cancelled. "Thank you so much for picking us up" they said. They did nothing but talk about all their money and who was cheap in their practice. I avoided a major traffic jam that wasn't yet showing up in GPS by checking live traff…

So they ended up getting an Uber XL but at X price, avoided sitting on 95 for over an hour in traffic. $0 tip. Three grown well to do men couldnt each chip in 2.00 each. Mind you I am sure it was in their business account which could be used as as a deduction on their Taxes. It was also brought up that I was in nursing school. They know what med school cost although mommy and daddy probably paid for it. Not that its their responsibility to tip because I am in college but a little professional courtesy would've been nice. Talk about cheap, would've been happy with 5.00 tip.

It's not my job to try to entertain riders like a bunch of preschoolers, and rideshare companies sure as hell don't pay us enough to "get creative" like this.
Not everyone enjoys "themes." Some will rate you badly because of it.
Everyone enjoys quick and safe service. Do what you know works.
There really is a startup for everything these days. Just go to the dollar store, spend $10 yourself if you want to decorate your car. It is not that hard.
No. How is this going to help me get more rides? And don't bring up the tipping thing. People aren't going to suddenly decide to tip me because i have mickey mouse in my car. If anything it will discourage people from tipping...
For crying out loud, people just want a ride. Not a theme park.
"a rolling relaxation pod" LOL That is a new term for Uber...
I dont understand. Do you pick the decor? Do you have to buy it? How does this help you earn more money?
Another company who took some cool pics based on their loose business model and got their split second in the lime light.
Wow. I would totally do this. On my own. Without some Silicon Valley doiches’ help.
No way. Can you imagine driving your kids to school in that car? I would love stats on if this actually increases tips. I feel like riders can see right through it and many would just be annoyed.
Or you get the snowflakes who would get all offended for some reason over your decorations. "Don't you know red is the color of blood, and people are dying, blah blah...
