I thought the Comfort was just non-black Uber Black
This is one thing rideshares have one leg over taxis. The drivers drive their own vehicles, so it's in their best interest to keep their cars clean.
I agree that a quick wipe with Lysol wipes is not too much effort. Makes a huge difference.
I think the commonsense would reveal that cab drivers generally would have more experience and considers it as a professional gig, so they'd be safer.
I am sure this isn't true always, but I can't really come up with arguments for Lyft drivers being safer or better drivers.
You’ve got a lot of content there that are raising Lots of questions in my head. Here are two

At some point, I'm gonna start thinking there is a conspiracy to stop the autonomous vehicles.
Taxi drivers hauling themselves in front of AV cars.
A poor person died from this accident, and there's a billion dollar industry in turmoil. and you guys are talking about this dude's ponytail.
Does it suck to be this person? "the first known death of a pedestrian struck by an autonomous vehicle on public roads." ...or honored.
