Making multiple stops in a rideshare
Uber and Lyft offer multiple destinations to be entered prior to and during the ride. With this feature, customers can add additional destinations. This can also be done before the driver even arrives, so the driver knows ahead of time where they will be stopping.
To request more than one stop, start by entering your first stop in the destination field when you initially request your trip. Then, in the bottom right corner of your app, you will see a “+”. Simply tap the add icon to enter your final drop off location. Lastly, tap “Request Lyft”.
Of course, you can always ask your Uber driver if it is ok to stop somewhere, but many drivers get annoyed by this when the rider asks them to go out of their way.
