I see a bunch of codes on line. That's great and all, but can I get my own? Do I have to sign up as an ambassdor or something?
How do I get an Uber code to give to another person? For credits and free rides.

Whether you are a rider or driver, you can refer other people to Uber to receive your rewards. The rewards vary in different locations and they change from time to time. The most popular seems to be ride credits for riders and cash rewards for drivers. (At the time of this writing, it is set at $5.00 USD per referral.)
Riders:
- Go to your Uber app, click on the Menu icon at top left, then select "Free Rides." You will be able to see your invite code.
Drivers:
- Go to your Uber Driver app, go to the "Earnings" tab, then select "Invites" towards the end of the scren. You can also access this from their website at partners.uber.com.
You'll receive rewards when:
- New riders enter your invite code before requesting their first trip
- New drivers sign up using your invite code and then complete a certain number of trips or other conditions
You are only eligible for one referral reward per individual. If your referral has already signed up to drive or deliver before, you may not be eligible for a reward.
