and strategically park it in heavy foot traffic areas.
I was going to say you got hacked, but I feel like this would be caused by Uber's swichboard getting hacked
There’s something wrong with this picture. One shouldn’t have to “buy” a positive rating. The customer rating should not reflect whether you tipped or not. This whole thing smells dirty.
Both drivers and riders should rate on the experience. if a customer had a bad experience, he should leave a bad rating and NOT leave a tip. The drivers should not judge the customer for that. If they did, that would be retaliatory.
Some of these companies are big. HotelTonight, Grinder, Dashlocker, Postmate, etc.
So what you are saying is that anything outside of those two things is "extra" and you should tip for them? This is assuming you expect these two things and you wouldn't tip for these two check boxes being ticked off. (I agree with that.)
It was super cool until I played the video and saw that it's just a mirror on your dash.
Poor marketing, because if I didnt' see this dude just place it in front of a mirror, I may have thought that it had actual technology built in it. nope.
I have noticed this in the past. No Uber or Lyft in majority of the Caribbean islands. I always look upon landing, and it never works. ...so your entry is a welcome one. I will check it out.
Here's the question though. Why do you think it is that Uber and Lyft haven't started businesses there?
Lyft mentions a new way to split fares but how else?
Good stuff. Thank you.
Not for nothing, did you know a good number of people are starting to tip with cash? It's because it tends to boost your passenger rating this way. See the drivers have to rate their customers right away before they can grab another (some exceptions apply) so if you tip them cash, they'll like you more.
So...remember that.
