Moved is now "Financing" you move? Is this even possible?
Moved.com is now offering a "Move now pay later" option.... I do not know any human being who will "Finance" … -
Phlatbed is THE app for quickly Delivering Furniture on-demand
Spring is around the corner. Time to move out of my grad school apartment....without BF help, he's traveling of course. … -
Uber or Lyft for moving furniture?
While this is up to the Driver, there are other options available. These are on-demand apps. As I move alot …
EXACTLY! Use Phlatbed .... it's basically the Uber for moving stuff on-demand. They have drivers just about everywhere. I just responded to a similar post with the following;
It's basically the Uber for moving on-demand. First time use you might need to familiarize yourself with it. Been using it and it's delivered everytime. I just used it at IKEA in New Haven Connecticut to move a Malm chest.
No Uber driver is going to fir a couch, chair, or table in their car. Uber drivers usually don't appreciate your large items. It's very rare to find an Uber or Lyft driver willing to help move your stuff....let alone junk removal. UberXL drivers are no different, it's about their vehicles, condition etc. If you look at how much an Uber / UberXL driver nets, then you have to ask yourself if $10/hr is worth moving your chesterfield couch for.
I'm a regular Uber rider and trust me, I'd rather Phlatbed since that's the Apps sole focus....moving stuff when you need it on-demand.
I suspet they probably couldn't get the "F"....
I can imagine the overhead nightmare managing two apps as a driver.
On Phlatbed I can see my driver profile before accepting. They can also see my profile a the customer. Then again Phlatbed is for moving stuff on-demand, not for moving people.
Takes just a few bad actors to ruin it for everyone. As long as they are actively taking decisive action I'm ok with that. Safety is the most important thing as far as I'm concerned.
Check out Phlatbed ... I know they're in Nevada. On-demand movingand delivery app....pretty much the Uber for moving stuff on-demand.
Wrong on all counts!
Fleetzen and Haulor are no longer around. The article needs to be updated.
I'm not a rideshare driver. However I have had to refute on two occasions wrongful claims against drivers by other fellow riders. It's scary what a drunken entitled rider can do when intoxicated.
It would be interesting to see if they make compensation gender-blind.
I believe you can. I've only used them to move some items, but there is an option for junk removal when posting a job.
Phlatbed - On-demand......exactly that...easy to use, simple and straightforward. Took a bit getting used to but it does exactly what it says....for quick moves when you need it.
I have used phlatbed fairly recently. compared to others it was simple and straightforward. Used it a few times now and no issues at all. It's exactly that...on-demand deliveries and for moving or junk stuff. Dolly is good too, but only used it once with my boyfriends weekend move. Another poster said the apps are big in certain parts depending on where you are...I've found that to be true even for Uber.
