When you lose something, you can text or call the driver. The driver can bring it to you and this triggers a $15 lost item recovery fee, which gets charged to your previous ride.
The driver can also drop off lost items at the Uber office as well. If you open a support ticket with Uber, they will direct you on where to go get it.
...but with Cash? that'll be a tough one to recover....
So true about how certain things are outside of driver control. They should be able to get a few freebies where occasional 1-star ratings will be ignored.
Oh, isn't there something about how the rating is per the last 500 rides or something? that's good to know it will eventually drop from your record. (if that's true)
I don't drive so maybe I am ignorant. I feel like 4.8 will significantly cut down on the number of riders you can accept. or is that not true? Let me ask it this way. How often do you ignore or delcine? Rough percentage?
I’m glad we don’t have to exchange cash anymore.
Scream, cower, put your hands up to protect your face...whatever it takes to hint to the drivers that you are fearing for your life.
Occasional pointing at an obstacle and yelling, "WATCH OUT!!!" is always effective.

All about the negligence
Didn't that dude have a prior? If Uber's background didn't catch it, then yes, they are liable!
What a courteous man to ask whether you were allergic to cats. Understands what rideshares are about and how they are private personal cars.
I need someone to come to my house, move a few large furniture moved from one room to another.
This happened to me for the second time. No idea why and the photo Uber sent me is totally NOT my barf. $100 on the CC. almost didn't notice.
Oh my gosh. Dude, that is very wrong. definite scams.
Where will those baby carts drive? Sidewalks or real roads?
Got it. Sound reasoning.
At least it sounds like you have alternate arrangements. I assume many don’t have a choice.
Woah. What was I smoking?
Good info. Thank you.
So true about how people rate are those who have something negative to say. Ain’t that the truth.
Why did you cut down your hours? What recent changes? I’m not a driver so I’m just curious.
I didn't know they forced pool on drivers.

I've never seen anything besides $5 and $10. and I've cancelled like a 100 times.
