Have you tried setting up a business account with Uber? Through this you can pay for others rides and set up rides for those under your account.
Wow, sorry this happened to you! That is so frustrating! What was the company you rented from? It is called "Rideshare"?
Im pretty sure most drivers use Turo for this.
I would have no problem with this as my ride :) Your car is going to be nicer than 90% of the cars on Uber anyways so I wouldn't worry about riders complaining!
Unfortunately, I don't think there is a way to do this without the intervention of Uber :/ Maybe try Lyft in the meantime?
I need to know who actually buys this!! hahaha
Omg, this is so disturbing 😂
Anywhere from 1 hour to 30 days. Usually you wont need to prebook at an airport though.
That is so frustrating! It seems like this driver was a jerk. Did you report this to Lyft?
That is so annoying!! I would have been thrown and probably would have just given the ride too but I wouldn't blame any driver for canceling! It is my biggest pet peeve when riders don't value other peoples time.
Sadly, drivers are sparse these days but I would think you should still be able to get a ride, you just may have to pay more than normal. Who told you there would be no one available?
This sounds awful, so sorry! Did you complain to Uber?
Have you tried using the fare comparison search engine on this site to find a ride? That would be a good place to start!
Try this article to understand how exactly streak bonuses work.
"A streak bonus is awarded to a driver when they accept a required number of ride requests back-to-back. Right before a streak bonus is active, Lyft will send the driver an email or text notifying them that a streak bonus hour is active. Lyft will also inform drivers of the ride requirement and the bonus amount. "
But why? Did she have a dog and they didn’t want a dog in their car? People suck.
They have this for Uber Eats too, wait a bit longer and save $1.
Never heard of it - where is it operational?
Once I "slammed" the door and the driver got all pissed and gave me a low rating. I truly did not even realize I had slammed the door till he yelled out the window. I guess I just close doors hard? Could you have done this without realizing it?
Uber is just trying to use fear tactics to get this to pass. They know it will be bad news for them if they have to finally give drivers the benefits and pay they deserve, so bad in fact they are willing to spend 100 Million trying to convince people to vote yes.
I am, or course, voting no.
How come I always thought the driver from this incident was a male?
