What a soulless nutcase. Gives the repbulicans a bad name.
Funny. They changed the headline of this article from "Uber goes public" to
Uber falls more than 7% in disappointing Wall Street debut
LOL.
I still think this is too easy of a model to copy. At least the bicycle. Those do not have enough technology element that anyone can just copy and execute super fast. As for motorized scooters and such, then a few can dictate the market and prevail.
Taxis have them license cards but I can’t imagine people checking them, especially *before* getting on. I mean. You have to get in before you see the darn card, and feel this raises certificate you speak of.
Not sure what would fix. I thought the license plate was a wonderful idea when I originally started taking Uber.
So true about photo pics. Not too helpful It I guess it’s better than nothing
The driver pics are useless because it appears so tiny on the screen.
Then in some states, the license plate does not exist on the front of the car. So it's not always easy to find it.

Here, I can't even drive with headsets in. They tell me I can't hear the other cars, sirens and horns. I guess it makes sense.
I've had an Uber driver take my phone and give himself tip. I am not even joking. He was telling me he wanted to show me how to close out a transaction, (Yeah, it was my first ride by myself) and he made it sound like he was being helpful. I mean..gosh, i've been had.
No, it's more like Chipotle saying, "We made bacteria-ridden burritos, but since you ate it, it's your fault. Not mine."
That doesn't mean they will take 7 passengers though. The driver can refuse 7 people from getting on. There is no obligation to carry more than the capacity. Plus, insurance may come into play.
good thing there's always uber.
So it's 30 days in advance at max. What about how soon?
Thanks for the response. So we are saying that the taxi companies came up with this scam to create fake value and the cities went in on it.
Just great.
Would you settle for Taxibot?
How is Lyft no on here? They are definitely better.
Gett paid $200Million for Juno. What did they get as a resut? Angry mob of drivers who will never drive for Gett? What a huge waste of money.
