Another thing that I think is rude to passengers is to be eating while driving. I get that drivers need to eat. Just try to do it in between rides. It seems very unprofessional otherwise, and no one wants to smell your food.
Do you live in the city or suburbs? I think a lot of this depends on that. People who live in the burbs will take a lot longer to ditch their cars, if they ever do (doubtful).
