Yes, you can. Be aware of minimum fares.

Yes, you can. However:

There is a minimum for each ride which is about $5~8 (exact amount differs by city and service).
Your driver may be upset as short trips are not as lucrative as longer ones. This is especially true if they drove a long way to come get you. (or they waited a long time in an airport queue.)
