First off, Uber is open 24x7, so there is nothing stopping you or the drivers to be utilizing Uber's services at 1AM.

As the availability of Uber vehicles is based on supply-and-demand, whether a car is available at 1AM depends on your location.  If you live in an urban area, you are more likely to see one.  If you live in the suburbs or a rural area, you may not see as many.

Our suggestion is to try it out in advance to your trip.  For example, if you are traveling on a Tuesday, try checking the Tuesday prior to see if there are cars available at 1AM.
