Hello everyone, we'd like to invite users to try out our recently released app, Transit Hop (https://www.transit-hop.com/app).
It's free, quick and easy! Create your account and get started by adding your upcoming trips as a driver or rider. Our algorithm will automatically match you with a driver/riders who have a similar destination around you; and you can connect with them for carpool. When a match is made, the trip schedule includes the estimate rate each rider should tip their driver for the ride.
Currently, it is only available to users in the United States and Canada.

Cool idea. Hope it takes off. Do you guys have any vehicle requirements, such as age of vehicle, etc? And do you do any sort of background checking on prospective drivers?

Our service approach is to build a community of trusted users, who contribute towards driver's trip expenses, not to be used as a taxi-hailing/profit generating stream.
Safety is important to us, and identity verification of both drivers and riders (as users can switch between these roles) is on top of our list. More changes are in the pipeline, to ensure we build a safe community for our users.
