Unfortunately, there is no guarantee with rideshare options like Uber and Lyft. You can reserve Limos and Taxis.
There is no guarantee that SUVs will be available at your destination and at the time you will need the car. However, you can check in advance the likelihood of an SUV bening available. Try these tips:
- Before your trip, use RideGuru to make sure such service is offered at the destination.
- Before your trip, perhaps a week before, check the Uber app to pull up the trip you plan to take. See if there are SUVs in tihat area. (It's helpful if you pull up during the same day and time the week before.)
- Try scheduling a ride with Uber and Lyft. Did you know you can schedule rides with Uber and Lyft? While there is still no guarantee, Uber and Lyft both claim they will make attempts and give higher priority to satisfying the scheduled riders. - If you need a guarantee, you may want to check a local taxi service or a car service (i.e. limos). These companies will accept reservations and assign a driver and a car for your needs.
