Your Uber app should also recognize that you have switched countries and will adjust its location accordingly and should work fine. However, the fare will be charged in local currency, so if there is a credit card on your account with a foreign transaction fee, you could be charged around 3% for the transaction.

yeah, you can use Uber in Canada. They charge your credit card and everything works like it does in US. They even convert the currency for you. or is that my credit card company, I can't remember.
