If an estimated fare is calculated, does that mean that the drivers go that route? Specifically from Tampa to Orlando?

The Guru Take
Not necessarily. It's also up to you!
Hi, Ginger,
Thank you for your question. RideGuru uses the routes that are considered as the "best" route, usually the "fastest." The route taken by the taxi driver or the rideshare may be different depending on what they consider as the best route. (Remember there are many factors, such as traffic and weather.)
With that said, the route the driver will take is up to you. You can simply tell the driver to take the route you prefer, and they should honor you. The price and the fare will be adjusted depending on the route you actually take, since it is being calculated based on distance and duration.
Have a good trip!

They'll go wherever you ask, within reason
Uber drivers will generally drive you wherever you like, barring any time constraints a particular driver might have. I recommend entering your destination in the app before requesting the ride, to ensure that the driver who accepts your ride knows it's a longer trip.
A solid 1+ hour drive is a nice fare for a driver, and maybe they'd even be able to find a fare for the trip back.

Ippei,
Thanks so much for your response.
I did not state my question correctly.
I want to verify that UBER or one of the others will actually drive one way from Tampa to Orlando.
Thank you for your help.
Ginger
That looks like a little over an hour's drive? I've had Uber drivers drive me farther than that. It's a good solid trip for for an Uber driver, I'm sure they'll be glad to take you.
Thanks so much for the help!
